I don't know anyone else that has this coral but it is the coolest. Yellow Eleutherobia. Now Tropicorium just got a bunch in and they still have some left for you Azoox fans. They are 1 to 1/2 inches tall. I have seen them before but only 1/2 inch tall. The polyps come out they extend 1/2 inch from the coral and look like little fireworks going off. I will get pictures when it calms down and opens up. It was open at the store. You can see it is trying to open even now. :bounce1:

Thanks for the heads up. I have something coming in from Trop (cough...something that requires light) might be able to add one on if it wasnt shipped tonight. If you saw anything else in...shoot me over a pm ;)

nice azoox ! (Eleutherobia)

congratulations slapshot

(colour very variable pink and red, white with red calyces, red, grey with red or brown calyces, yellow, orqange with yellow or red calyces, and brown.
aspecies may occur in several colour forms.

remarks: this genus contaqins nominal species that exhibit a wide variety of characters. further work will clarify if some of these species would be better placed in other genera.

the few species known from shallow water are generally restricted to caves and overhangs where they are founf in small groups of a few colonies. most known species grow below 45m, and have been collected by dreding, wich indicates they many live on open sea botton.)

similar Indo-Pacific genera: Paraminabea

Yes looks a lot like paraminabea which are similar to alcyonium/nephthyigorgia.... relatively easy to keep. Love the glowing yellow!

looked yesterday and didn't see any on their site... Very pretty, are they hard to keep. Do you spot feed?

They are not listed on their site...you can call or shoot them over an email. Should be relatively easy to keep on the azoox scale. For feeding: automated with additional spot feeding.

Going to grab a red one today to go with my yellow one. Look what I finally got Mike. I have been looking for two years!
