Loss of power

Well it wasn't my boy waking me up this morning it was the sound of my BUPS beeping. 4 hours later and the power just came back on, I did buy a battery powered aerator @ Habour freight for $6 and hooked that up. Hope that the corals that were out of the water for 4+ hours don't show any signs of stress. Thinking that the in nature they are out of the water longer than that with the changing of the tides.

The only coral that so far that had problems was my SM Monti, i guess with 0 flow the hermit crabs went places they haven't been before and moved a few frag discs and I found it upside down on the sand bed. The rest seem to be OK.
Thanks.

Did the return back siphon and flood the floor? Otherwise how did the power being out lower your tank water?

sorry to hear ade, didnt think the snow would cause the power to go out.Hopefully everything recovers well and quickly. Glad so far only one thing seems to be affected.

You should yell at your craps or put some applebitter on your frags so they done taste so good, they need to make an electric fence for hermits and snails.

My tank is old school and does not have a overflow box just stand pipes and my water level fell about 3" and no flooding. I have a bunch of corals that are growing out of the water so they are the ones that were exposed.

Not sure, left the house to go to work @5.45am I guess I will find ou whe I get home.
