Lost a sixline, looking for a replacement...

Well woke up this morning to find my sixline stuck to my Koralia 3 powerhead...

Don't know what happened, but everything else seems great!

So, what should I get to replace him??

The sixline did a great job of searching for pests... He would always hover near sps and do like a "search". I don't know if he ever helped at all, but it was nice knowing he might be interested...

I currently have 2 occ. clowns and a starry blenny...

The tank is a 30 long sps dominant reef.

What fish would you guys recommend as a replacement?? Im thinking some sort of wrasse, maybe something with "pest control"...

Any thoughts?

They're expensive, but have you considered a Mystery Wrasse? They have all the personality of a six-line (though like most fish, they can be shy at first), and the colors are amazing.

i personally think pencil wrasses are very neat, and good looking species that have good personality, once adjusted to big scary 2 legged air breathers.

of course if you arent looking for a wrasse necessarily, i would do a rainfords goby. they are my favorite. they eat HA and sift sand. mine has never taken prepared foods, but eats all day and is fat. color is amazing and they dont get over 2" or so.

I was looking at the yellow coris wrasse, but isn't that one not considered reef safe??? I don't have anymore shrimp for it to eat, but will it eat snails/hermits?
