Well maybe no one else will comment on here but I will.

Congrats on the progress.

What are using for flow in the tank?

What kind of skimmer are you using?

Chris

SKimmer is an octopus 200 needlewheel. Sits down in the sump with a red sea 50 ozone on it.

For flow I have a sequence dart on the closed loop going through an oceansmotion 4 way. The open loop is a Corallife turbo sea 1740. The drain is a 2" durso with a reverse durso down in the sump.... Tank is SUPER quiet.

I also have 2 seio 1500's on a wavy controller, but I want to see if they will work with a wavy sea before putting them in the tank. If they wont then I will make a bracket to keep them off the acrylic.

I really like your rock work! You went from shark tank to full on reef haha

I will still add a stingray to the tank if I can find one that is small enough. They dont seem to bother the pipefish, as long as they are well fed. I work from home and feed the tank 3x a day so it should not be an issue.

That pipefish was in the last stingray reef and is about 4 years old... He's tough...

I just moved houses and my 260 inwall tank could not be removed from the house (without breaking stuff). So the new owners got a tank.

Well I needed a new place to house my critters, and a LFS was getting rid of their display tank. Here is my new 340 Acrylic.

I am salvaging all the equipment from my 260.

What a PITA moving a big tank is.

Here are some specs...
Tank is 84Lx36Wx25H.
Sump is 48Lx24x24
Open Loop Pump: Turbo Sea 1740
Closed Loop: Sequence Dart
Wave Maker: Oceans Motion 4 way with Revolutions Drum
Skimmer: Ocotpus Dual Recirc Skimmer
Lighting: 3x400 PFO (20k)
Chiller: JBJ-1/3hp
Management: AquaController 3

I am about 1/2 way done with the plumbing and should be ready for a fresh water test this week.

Did the tank come with the stand or did you have it built?

If it was built, what was the cost and who did it for you?

Thanks

Tank came with a stand. I run a racing website, and we have fabricators on there. So even if it didnt come with a stand I would have had one built.
