Loud Iwaki return

I am running an Iwaki WMD-40RXLT as a return pump. It is so loud that I put a mouse pad under it to quiet it down. It was still loud so I doubld the mouse pad up and bolted it down. It's still loud! I bought this pump because everyone said how quiet they are but all you can hear is the pump humming all day! Is there anything else I can do to quiet it up?

I have the same issue. But I bought mine because everyone said they were very reliable. Never heard that they were quiet.

But for the record everyone...he's right, they are NOT quiet. If anyone tells you that they're lying.

It is a high speed motor and naturally is loud, My I suggest a drop in Mag drive pump. If you want more volume a sequence dart.
