Love my Vectra M1

Just wanted to say good job! I just got it installed this afternoon, and this pump is dead silent and according to Ecosmartlive I'm drawing only 39 watts. I replaced a panworld external that was close to 200 watts.

Calibration process was a breeze, and had zero problems getting it synced with Ecosmartlive. Can't wait to start playing around with it more. Again, greta job Ecotech!

I just used the quick coupling that is supplied and got some PVC to plumb into my existing return. Noise was never a big issue since my sump is in basement, but still amazing how quiet it is. I'll try get some pics later tonight.

Glad to hear it!!! I just installed mine this week, and love it as well.

Sweet show us some pics. How did you plumb it?

I hard plumbed a 3/4" sched 40 pvc to the provided slip insert. The provided slip insert is slightly shallow and the 3/4" fit tight, but with pvc cement it held.

I used mine for my Lifereef skimmer. Working well. I love the interface into ESL. When using ESL it does appear to lock out the manual controller to adjust speed.

I really like the calibration aspect. You essentially get 10 steps, or points in 10% increments to adjust. You define what is the minimum and maximum speeds first, then can adjust between that range.

This video is more about the Lifereef with the pump, but there's plenty of shots of the plumbed pump.

There is a setting in ESL for how much time you can override the ESL settings with the driver so I'm assuming it can be done, but turning the dial doesn't do it. Perhaps I need to press mode or option first.

Yeah I'm pretty excited about these. Not that it is needed but. . . Just looks awesome. I am using a Jebao DC6000 as my return right now. My only complaint is that it is somewhat noisy.

RE: Love my Vectra M1

This is great news! We are pleased to hear that your Vectra is working well. Also pleased to hear that you had a good experience with EcoSmart Live. Please let us know if you have any additional questions or concerns.

FYI - to adjust the speed in override mode, simply press the Mode button on the driver, then use the dial to adjust.

Your 'numbers' don't entirely make sense to me. I also use an external panworld, the 150PS that draws 180 watts (the same model as yours?), run wide open against 10 feet of head pressure. Looking at the flow curves for the M1 it appears I'd have to also run it wide open to get a similar flow at 10 feet, thus using the full 80 watts. Could you share some details of your system so I can reconcile? Perhaps you were throttling back the PW? Thx.
