Hi Roger,
I recently purchased a 1073.02 Silence pump to use as a return pump on a 50 gallon cube. The head height is just under 4 feet. I marked the water height in my sump, added one gallon of water and remarked the new height. I then timed how long it took to pump out the 1 gallon of water. Please note the return water wasn't going back into the sump. It took about 63 seconds. I then changed the adjustable gph setting on the pumps dial to the other extreme and timed that. Again, it was about 63 seconds. This gives me less than 200 gph flow thru the sump. Perhaps that is enough. But I am questioning why the flow is so slow. And why the flow is the same at both extremes of the adjustment dial.
I checked the manual and it mentions a flow control on the small box on the cord that attaches to the transformer. There is, however, no knob or switch on this small box, only what appears to be a receptacle for a plug.
Am I missing something?
Gary
