I wanted to update this, just make a point how CO2 relates to the skimmer pump (air scfm).
I was running C0-1 skimmer (Air Intake: 360 l/Hr) on my Eel tank for a couple of weeks of testing.
Always run CO2 scrubber on this tank through my skimmer air intake.
My pH would top at 8.24 at the end of the day.
I have a C0-2 (Air Intake: 720 l/Hr) skimmer now in that tank.
With nothing else changing other then a new skimmer, my pH is now topping at 8.38 at the end of the day. Took about 3 days to reach that threshold.
I have install a tee fitting at the input the CO2 scrubber and with a valve i am mixing normal air with air from the CO2 Scrubber to keep my pH at max 8.32
On a side note: I have design a software to control 2 valves, one to run pure C02 scrubber air at night time, and run normal air through the day. Hoping to maintain a pH more steady range.
I will most likely start a new thread about my finding, when I get a chance to install the valves. There are issues that i need to resolve (back pressure is different from CO2 scrubber and then a open valve), will need to add a third fix valve to match my CO2 Scrubber back pressure.
