Low PH

I have this thread in the chemistry forum.I was wondering if you guys have any other suggestions as to what else to try.

Sodium carbonate (your pool additive) is the same thing as washing soda and won't up your pH directly--it increases alkalinity. Can you just increase the amount of kalkwasser you're using? That would do the trick. I'd raise your alkalinity too--keeping a higher alkalinity will help you maintain your high pH. For this, the pH up will work, but I'd stick to plain old washing soda or baking soda.
