Bill,

Put me down for some frags when you they are ready. Every person I have ever talked with says your frags are primo. Zef always gets a far away look in his eye when he talks about your metallic blue stag! Good to hear all is comming along well!

Sure thing, I'll send you a PM when ready.

Absolutly, Love the flow selection especially the fact i don't need someone else to program it. Another switch i made was to the Apex, Still hard to understand (To me) But once the net is up and It's online it very easy to control from my PC ( So me likey)
Hope you guy's are well:thumbsup:

Zach will get your net going with the apex, so your in good hands. A tipi on your mp-40, when you clean it, don't remove the impeller from the shaft unless you need to. That little bearing is sensitive to the York and the shaft usually isn't dirty.

Wait till you get the vortech link with The WXM vortech expansion module for your apex. I don't have one yet but soon. I've seen them work. And it's nice you won't have the send your vortech in for updates when something new comes out or if you like set it up with reef crest in the morning and lagoon mode in the evening you can or the way you like. And more. I'm gettin the apex lite with wxm hopefuly by the end of next month.

He already did that a while back and i love it. Thanks for the MP40 tip, I will keep that in mind.

Zef, Don't you need more than one for that App to be useful??? If not LMK

Thanks

Thanks

Bill,

Your tank looks awesome... I hope mine ends up looking 1/2 as good as yours.

Thank you Sir, Coming from a long time original member like yourself that means a lot, And I'm sure you will have a killer tank yourself soon enough.
Once you put some of Fishdoc's coral in you can't lose Hahaha...

Not only did i not see any PO4 spike there was actually no Cycle at all and never to this day did I see any trace of Nitrate either. My roughly 75#'s at about 4 months old is completely covered In Coralline and you could not tell it apart from 10.00 lb Live Rock.
Best rock out there IMO for the money and then some!
Good luck with your project and I'm sure you will love your rock in time.
Bill:)

Bill,

Were did you buy you eco-bak pettets and do you run them in the same reactor as your carbon at the same time? Also-more tank pics please.

Hey Bart, I got mine from Zach who got them Presale from John Warner/Warner Marine. From what i understand that is still the only way to get them at this time, Due to some pkg problems. If you call him they send them directly to your house for around 40.00 shipped per 500ml dose which is good for 100gal water volume. I do as they reccomend and run them seperatly in a BRS reactor and run some Chemipure Elite In my return section passively. You will need to remove the sponge pads from the reactor no matter which one you use and replace them with the plastic discs from the craft store (See Warner Marine now has a pellet product thread) for all the latest info out there on this product.
As soon as i get a decent camera I'll take some photos as the tank has really taken off growth wise, or if you get over this way just come see for yourself.
Bill:)

Haven't updated in a while, here are some shots from today.

I saw that piece in person and thought it was one of the coolest pieces I have seen. Cant remember the name, but it is hard plate that looks like a montipora and a digitata had a green baby.

It's called Elephant Coral, It was mine but belongs to Rhett, I am just nursing it back to health for him at the moment. I think it originally came from Fishdoc Via a long winding road.
Bill
PS my Camera sucks when i get a new one I'll get more Photos.

I love that coral glad to see it didn't die. Still like to get a frag of that what been 2 yrs now I've been asking for it. Is it a LPS. That's 1st coral I pick out when I saw bills tank for the 1st time. You can use it to land airplane it's so bright.
