Low Profile 36x24x15 Build

Perfect/Not

Perfect/Not

Tank looks great Bill. Not as good as mine, but nobody is perfect :)

Thank you sir, I will strive to do better in my next attempt! My New Stand is in the works and It measures 51" x 25" x 30" tall W/duel side doors 4 front doors will open to full access and will have dark stain to match my floors.
Thinking around 2 weeks to move the tank to the new stand and new 65gal
sump, For now the tank will remain the same while i save for a little bigger rimless Reef Savvy tank.
I want to try to do a really neat sump area with everything as neat and clean as possible, With all equipment contained in the cabinet like a 21 jewel watch.
Thinking about a coast to coast overflow to gain a little extra tank space on the new tank. And certainly Rimless W/Black Silicone 48x24x20 Starfire front.
Actually the stand is a fact, The rest is something I am toying around with
except the sump is also being changed to the larger 65 gal size but for now that's all. Hahahah Or???:D

Hey Rick. I don't want to detract too much from Bill's awesome tank. I should have a build thread in the works pretty soon. I should be filling the tank soon; the wife being 8 months pregnant, laying hardwood floors, new car and general baby prep has taken most of my tank time.

I'm hoping at some point Bill will let me see his tank in person. It'll help inspire me and keep my wife on track. :)

Ohh and Bill, I have a Reef Savvy tank and can't say enough good things about Felix's customer service and the quality of the tank.

We just find out my Wife's PC with the Photo bucket acct crashed and lost all the photos we had (Many) We will have to take all new photos to get the shots you ask about. But i will do this as soon as i get time.
SPS prices are average about 50.00 for frags and 150.00 for decent colony of quality name brand coral and some as cheap as 10.00-25.00 for common frags. Tyree,Sniper SPS,ORA and others are more depends on the coral. My Tyree Purple monster coral Frag can sell for 75.00 for 1/2" frag or more. I have the Original Pink Lemonade from Sniper SPS that is one they do not even have any more, So Who knows $$$
This tank is pretty simple 65gal sump, GEO 618 Ca Rx, MR1 Reactor with Eco-Bak Pellets (Solid Vodka Dosing) Carbon Reactor and 2 X 4" filter socks to polish the water. Plus i add Microbacter 7 once a week. This is a Bacteria booster from Brightwell Co.
I have 2 X 250w M/H 2 X 39W T5HO and 36" Reef Brite LED (Blue)
And last item is I-Tech 100 Skimmer W/Tunze Hydrofoamer pump
2 X MP40W and Bubble Blaster return pump 1800 GPH on a manifold to run all other equipment from one pump.
This tank is my downsize from 300gal system that was too much to take care of after 4+years, But I sold it all for a very good price to friends.
I will send more pictures when i get them OK
Bill

Just thought i would bring this old build thread back from the ashes! Yesterday I finally got my Complete set of LED'S all 115 of them working properly and Dimming on and off.
This has been a large learning curve and has had moments that made me wish i never started but now that it's done, If you are contemplating Led's it is well worth the effort but be prepared to learn the correct process to do them right the first time or you will spend a fortune learning in the process.
Thanks to Brandon and some help from Donny and Finally myself I think i have found the correct process and best parts for a trouble free build that will make you Smile in the end. Just a few photos to show the last string that was a nightmare for a while but it is now been corrected and working great.
Bill
