Lowering Salinety

My CowFish has Ich. How low do you go lowering the salinety?
Right now he's kept in 0.027/in my 90g reef tank.
I will fish him out today & keep him in a hospital tank.

I assume you mean 1.027, as 0.027 would be even less salty than fresh water

For hypo, you need to drop the salinity to between 1.009 and 1.010. It's good to drop the salinity over 2 days. BTW, if one fish in the tank has ich, the rest likely have it as well. It would be good to remove and treat all fish while leaving the tank fishless for 6 weeks.
