Yes!!! If you don't buy a unit you still want to use RO from your LFS. Lots of stuff in unfiltered water you don't want your fish exposed to.

+1 on BRS. I bought their 5-stage RO/DI unit about 2 years ago and love it. It's a nice unit and works great. Couldn't be happier. Set up was a breeze, although my copper pipe was larger than the self peircing sattle would fit. A quick trip to the local plumbing supply shop fixed that.

I would recommend getting into a Group Buy, for discounted prices. Bulk Reef Supply has great units as well.
