This is my first LPS, sold as a torch, but i think it's a hammer. What do you think?

Definitely looks like a hammer to me. Looks a bit bleached, actually, but I don't have much experience with different color combinations. The tips of mine are a a nice dark brownish color and the stalks are a flourescent green (or was it the other way around?)

It also looks like a hammer to me. However, there is supposedly a Euphyllia parancora/paradivisa hybrid. The following is a link to one being sold on ebay.

Hm...that's interesting about the hybrid, I'm completely new to LPS so I really have no idea what it is. It is coloring up a bit, I'll try to take another photo afterschool. One thing I thought was interesting is that the hammer is I think getting a little longer on each tenticle. So maybe it was receding and is coming back, I'm unsure.

I'll remember to post the pic.

Thats about how big my hammer was when i first got it now has several new heads

How long did it take for it to sprout new heads? Did you feed it? None of the pics turned out well, so I'm going to try tonight. It's only in a 10g tank, but I plan to make it the showpiece coral, so I'm excited for it to grow.

I feed it cyclopeez and bionic 2 part calcium supplement,
I noticed a differance in 2 months have pics in my gallery
