LPS Spacing

When it comes to spacing between LPS, say like in Favia's, war coral, and such, I have seen many pictures where they reside in close proximity to each other (colony). With regards to the sweeper tentacles, are some types able to coexist?

Sincerely,

David

I've personally keep them pretty far apart 3" or more (give room to grow). I have seen sweepers on war coral and favia 1.5-2 inches long. If their the same species you might be able to keep them next to eachother. I have two similar pieces of favia go after eachother, better safe then sorry.
