I have 12lbs of LR for sale. I'm looking to buy higher quality rock elsewhere. If someone needs some for their fuge/sump or w.e. Be aware that this rock had a grape caulpera issue. It is mostly gone now. There are quite a few aiptasia as well.. I just don't have the time to deal with irradiating this right now. Let me know if you are interested.

Yep - just kill it ( dry it out in the sun for 1 week ) and then re-seed with one piece of live rock in a tub with a pump and if possible a skimmer and use the water that you would normally throw out from your live tank when you do a water change - it will be "live" again and without the pests in no time.

I didn't even think of this. So i basically just set it outside on the porch on newspaper or something? Should i soak the rock in a mixture of vinegar and water as well? I'm not sure if using my old tank water would be a good idea, wouldn't the algae spores left in the water regrow in the rock?

Yes- just put it outside in the sun. Then you could make sure all undesirables are dead and use vinegar in the tub first for a day or 2. Then - in tub with flow and no light the old tank water will provide some nutrients to create "live rock" and the algae would not regrow well = no light and minimal nutrients.
