LTA and Cleaner Shrimp

I've had a long tentacle for about 5 years now. Recently I added a cleaner shrimp to the system. He set up camp near my LTA and often is standing along the side of it. When I feed the anenome he constantly picks at the food, but never seems to get it away. I've also seen the shrimp picking at the anenome even when I've not introduced food. It seems to keep the anemone closed up a lot more than normal. I'm afraid it's not good for the LTA. I've tried scooping the shrimp up and moving him to the opposite side of my tank, but he made his way back to the anemone with a couple minutes. Should I be worried the cleaner shrimp is going to end up killing the anemone?

The reason I worry is a past experience I had with peppermint shrimp eating a bubble tip anemone that I introduced to the tank.

I would get clown fish instead for lta. My anemone crab gets lost in the base of it so when tentacles are out you can't even see the crab.. the clowns do a good job of chasing away all my shrimps

Chase the damn shrimp into the anemone so it may become food itself.
I tried it with mine and the maxi minis but it didn't work. I hope the gigantea will be more effective :angryfire:

I would be very angry about the mandarin and maybe a little about the snails.
Peppermint shrimp on the other hand are cheap and likely got themselves into it by trying to steal food out of the anemone.

I have two clowns. They hang out in my frogspawn instead.

Lol my peps stay away from my nems, it's my skunk who steals food. So now I feed him first then feed my nems, when I rarely feed them.
