I recently aquired a 150w MH with a 10k Ushio bulb from a local reefer which replaced my 4 bulb T5 HO.
After setting it up with the original bulb the LTA had great expansion during photo periord, expanded to about 8-9 inches the largest. I used it for about a week, untill I could replace it with a new bulb.
The original bulb had an unknown age apon aquiring it. I had replaced it with a Ushio 14k bulb.
Since changing the bulb the LTA actually shrinks down when the lights turn on, and has been moving around as well. And it doesn't re-expand untill the lights turn off.
Any recomendations.
