Picked up a LTA about 2 weeks ago and it found a weird spot under a rock ledge where it gets almost no light and very little flow.... He wouldn't commit suicide would he? :p

mine hide in a hole for 2 days.. came out and moved under and overhang for 2 weeks and got little light then moved out 4-5 inches into the light.

I'd give it some time and it might move once it feels safe.

That isn't a weird spot.. they like very little flow if it needs more light then it will move. It looks pretty white, it shouldn't be white. This is what we call bleached. It probably has it self in a low light area because it can't stand the bright lights yet. It lost alot of its zooxanthellea, (any of various symbiotic yellow-green or yellowâ€"œbrown algae in the cytoplasm of certain radiolarians and marine invertebrates.) I am glad to see its attached, it might have a chance to gain its zooxanthellea back. Feed it very small pieces of raw seafood that is soaked in selcon, if you can get selcon. I have to order mine online because no lfs in my area sells the stuff. Good luck:)

Yea I know it's bleeched, it's an anemone I am saving from a tank that someone got talked into by their LFS to put in their 8g nano with stock lighting. It eats though so I will continue to feed it squid. I just thought it was a weird spot to bury itself...
