LTA not attaching what can i do?

i have had my LTA for about three months. it has never attached since iv had it. i bought it for my gsm clown buy sadly it passed away last week. when i first bought the LTA i kind of connered it in a cave like area. it stayed very healthy but never attached. now its been a week and its been roaming around my tank and still has not attached. sometimes it inflates to its maximum capicity and other times it goes back to normal. does anyone know why it is doing this? how can i get it to attach before i get my next clown. not sure debating between a true of false perc. does anyone know if a false perc will host with the LTA.

Have you tried digging a hole as deep as you can get it putting the foot in and then covering the foot back up with the sand? At the base of a rock works we'll as they like to dig there foot all the way down and under. I have done this with 2 of my lta's and they have stayed put bothe times. Just look at your tank and figure out where there is great light. Not alot of flow but some as they don't like to be whipped around but gently swayed.

Your anemone could be indicating that it's unhappy with your aquarium, and as such is trying to wander around to find a happier place to live.
You state that your nem has been in your tank for 3 months and your ID line says that you have 6 months worth of experience. A good rule of thumb is that a nem shouldn't be placed in a tank until it's at least 6 months old. I hope that your nem isn't slowly dying.
Have you got any pictures of your nem and your tank?
What are your water parameters?

when i bought my setup it was established for two years. i transfered everything, even the water. everything else is doing great, the corals are growing as are the inverts. i see new pods and feather dusters on my LR everyweek. the LTA looked healthy but just wasnt attaching, it was also really sticky. it would also eat the shrimp my late gsm would feed it(when the cleaner shrimp wouldnt steal it) maybe the flow was to much for it. since i placed its stalk in the sand and adjuted the flow, it has stayed. ill try to post some pics.

Lta's are notorious for not attaching. I have read many a thread on people having perfectly healthy ltas but they just won't attach on there own. It was here that someone had told me to dig the hole
And bothof mine have never moved since. As long as the colour is good and they are eating and sticky i would just say he was in "transition"
