LTA placement

I know a LTA is at home on the bottom of the tank with its foot buried in the sand...but can a LTA live on the rockwork...If it it placed there and the light/flow is sufficent will it thrive just as it would on the sand?

Most people say the sand, but mine is in the rocks. It will goe where it wants.

I think it would just roll back onto the sand unless you could make a pile on the rocks for it to bury into.

To answer your question, don't know. If you could get him to stay on the rocks, he probably would live.
