LTA questions

I have had an LTA for a little while and he was doing good, I recently bought a sea slug and he must have wondered to close and I think the LTA tried to eat him. I picked the slug out and he seems to be ok, the LTA didn't look to good for 24 hours and my wife said it looked like he 'puked' the other day. It has since moved to a new spot and looks to be fine. I would like comments on this little event. I also wanted to know if the spot he moved to will be ok, his new home is right beside some ricordia, candycanes, and a bunch of GSP. Do LTA's sting? And one last silly question, how the heck do you pronounce anemone? Because the way it's spelled and the way I have heard some people say it doesn't sound right. I think it should sound like an-enemy. Is that right?

Thanks for any help

Yep thats how you prounonce it:)
And you will want to move your other corals away from it as "yes it will sting them to death"The sea slug i have shoots out a purplr dye when it gets ticked off and it can pollute the tank. It now stays clear of my nems butif your nem looks good now i would not worry to much. And if it looked like it "puked"(lol) then it was probably expelling waste. They will do this. They look deflated and will i all essense"poop"..lol

Glad it is doing we'll. Did you just get it recently? Get it at oceans by chance? When i got my last one about a month ago he must have had about 80 of them in tanks. Sad really:)

I got him a couple months ago at golds, I also have a small 'clone' of a GBTA that I got from someone on canreef. I'm glad to hear you also have a slug. I really like mine but I was afraid I would have to get rid of him, I don't know this slugs scientific name but the guy told me he is poisonous but only if eaten. He does not shoot dye out (he come from the new store elite aquatics).

Anyway thanks Lisa and if anyone has anything else to add go for it.

an-enemy... not exactly... notice the spelling of anemone... if you were to write out out kinda like your reference it would look more like an-emeny... in fact if i were to write it out like that i think the best way would be Anem (like amen, but switching in the n and m) - oh- knee
so A-nem-oh-knee

Hey Mike.

And yes r00onmac is right:)
