lta relocating

I have purple lta that I purchased 2 months ago. I dug out a place next to the live rock,it has stayed there until this evening.It has moved out a little from the rock,and seems to be borrowing it's foot down throught the sand.Is this a common thing with them.I have some mushrooms next to where it was,it seems the mushrooms were bothering it. Thanks David

Yes LTA are sand dwelling if I look at the bottom of my tank, I can see my LTA's foot attached to the glass.
