Other than the disaster with the fish... Everything else in my tank is looking great... Here are some recent FTS to show how things are coming along

BTW... I was thinking of purchasing a new camera for taking my pictures w/ , but I decided to try my Panny handheld DV recorder, and as far as I can tell that thing takes some pretty good looking pictures

Just because you get no reply doesn't mean no-one is reading. There are a lot of lurkers on RC that love to read and learn and still avoid any type of drama by posting.

Your pictures look nice. And FYI, "FTS" means Full Tank Shot. None of your images above qualify.

Oh... I know, I was just picking, hence the :lol:... About the FTS, that is great to know because I thought it was just an abb. for photos... I learn some new slang everyday... Thanks!!!!

Thanks for the kind words... FTS! Does that mean photos>:lmao:... Really though, I will get some this afternoon when I get home... I have not been taking them because @ this point I have my temporary HOB skimmer hanging on the front of the tank... If you can look past that eye sore then you will probably like them

You can refer to this anytime your not sure on what something means thats abbreviated.

Cool, that will always come in handy... I was going to say that I need to put up a few new shots, so that we can really see how good the pictures are from that movie camera... I stupidly forgot that you dont have to resize them, when you have them on photobucket... The next ones I put up will be full size, so maybe they will look even better... I have been so surprised at the pictures that thing can take, since it has no flash, no macro mode, none of the features of the cameras that I have been looking at... it just takes pictures, and they happen to look pretty good... Cannot ask for much more than that

Ya, I know I have too much... Some of that is rock that I have had for a while... Which I do not like, and I will be removing when the tank comes down to be drilled, plumbed, painted, etc... I am either going to try and sell it, put it in the office tank, or just trade it for corals @ the LFS... The Fiji towards the bottom is what I am referring too as not being liked, and I cannot stand it... The other rocks, (some are new, some are not) I really like and they have lots of holes, and neat shapes... about 30 lbs of it is new rock that I just went ahead and got so I would not be disappointed by colorless rock when I get everything done

Thanks Salty...The only thing that you do not see in my picture that I can see in yours is the lights... Is that what is missing?

I went home @ lunch & snapped this photo ... will it qualify? should have used the wifes Sony 10MP... This DV camera takes excellent close up shots, but is lacking a lot on the wide shots
