Lumatek 250 dimmable eballasts

I am going to be ordering 3 ballasts and 3 mh bulbs next week and I was wondering what type of cords do Lumateks come with. My Lumenarc reflector/sockets just have the two wires coming out the back. Will I need a special plug, or can they just be spliced in. Thanks in advance.

The new lumatek dimmable have the male IEC for power and the female IEC for the lamp cord. It comes with a 10 or 15ft cord, cant remember. The old style ballast have the same connector as the sunlight supply bluewave ballasts. I hate those by the way.

Very helpful! Is it ok to cut the end and splice into the socket?

You can shorten the cord as much as you want. The pic of the lamp cord above is how it comes. You will have to hard wire the cord to the socket.

Either mine was missing in the box, or they do not come with the cord. Either way, I will need cords for all three ballasts. Jeremy can you help me out on this?

The cord I need is the cord that goes to the socket. I have power cord.

Ok. Checked the site and it says they are suppose to come wth a 15ft output cord.
