Lumenarac Mini Reflector With 250W PFO Retro Set-Up

Hi Premium Aquatics:

A few years back I ordered from you a 250W PFO retro (plug n play) kit with the mogul socket, Spider relector, and standard magnetic ballast.

I would like to buy the Lumenarac Mini reflector to replace the Spider reflector -can I easily switch these out, or is there some re-wiring that has to be done for the plug-in into the ballast (I am not an accomplished DIYer!)?

You would need a couple of items to make this happen without chopping off any existing plugs.

The first item that you would need is code PFO-MHSOCN, which is $9.95, however this is very specialized and we do not even list it on the website.

The next item you would need is this one here....

You can then wire the two new items together, and be able to plug in your Sunlight pendant on one side, and plug the other end into the PFO ballast.

We carry the Coralvue knockoff, the L3 and L3 Mini. These are the EXACT knockoffs as well, same material, dimensions, etc. They also have the slots for glass if you ever decided you wanted to put glass on them.

Just checked this reflector out on your site. Last question (I think) - approximately how much additional length should I consider for the socket? I need this length to analyze my canopy dimensions on my odd-shaped corner tank.

Figure in about an extra 4.5" on the one side where the socket is coming off.

The glass is only needed if running DEs or planning on ducting them to a fan to remove heat.
