Lunar Lights to Bright?

Hi all,

I just purchased a 1 watt lunar light for my parents 35g new reef setup. we noticed that even after the main lights are off, and all the ambient room lighting is off, the fish are staying out instead of swimming to their hideing/sleeping spots in the rocks. i am thinking that the light may be to bright, but maybe these Chromis just like to stay up late. anyone have any thoughts? i have been turning the lunar off after a few hours because i do not want to stress out the fish.

thanks!

I am not the most experienced person in this hobby but that does seem a little bright. I have 3 Chromis, Flame, Hippo, 2 cardinals, and Percula and they all disappear at night and I have 2 1w lights on mine. As far as stress goes I dont personally think it will be hugely detrimental but I would try to find a way to dim it at night. They may just think its always a full moon.:D
