Lunare wrasse injury

I just bought a lunare wrasse yesterday. I have him in QT and in this tank is a small amount of live rock and a fake statue type of thing (small Easter Island head). All of these were in my main tank so the QT would have an instant cycle and if need be I wouldn't care if I had to dose anything. Anyway, a little while ago I see this wrasse trying to get out of the bottom of the EI head!! Somehow he managed to squeeze himself in there (who knows why) but he was trying and trying to get out and couldn't. After awhile I figured I had to try and help him and I did manage to get him out but now he is so beat up looking!! Scales have been ripped off both of his sides near his head. Looks like it hurts but I don't know what to do for the poor fish. The wrasse just swims back and forth non-stop.
I have of course, taken the stupid statue out of the tank....I also added some Stress Coat. What else can I do? :(

Can I say that adding live rock to a QT isn't common practice and if you have to treat a fish it will have badd effects on both treatment and the later use of the rock. Having said that it's great to kow your fish is doing better.

I put the rocks in the main tank specifically so they would gain some bacteria so the hospital tank wouldn't have a cycle. (They were sitting dry not being used until now) No problem to me if the tank had to be dosed and the rock basically ruined for a reef tank as I don't plan on having a reef tank again, and I could always use the rock for an african cichlid tank in the future!! :D
As it is I haven't had to dose anything anyway so....
