melev - Yes the celing is the worst part by FAR! Me and my dad held up the sheets while the wife screwed them in :D ceiling is 7'3" so it was a stretch but doable for the small space

Screws are teh ONLY way to go...there is anything else :D Especially like chris said...we have a senco (borrowed from boss) so it goes quick!! And w/ holding the sheets up we could not have done it any other way

jnarowe - They are a little wide right now as we didn't have many Senco screws left so we got it up there for now. I bought another bucket today so we will go back in and fill in some gaps....good catch

Off to finish the ceiling and the walls :D Pics later

Ok we quit for the night. I didn't get all the walls done :( Only have one to do tomorrow and we need 2 more sheets of 1/2" sheet rock

Pic of the wife helping out insulating the 2x6 wall that encases the posts.. I was very thankful and was excited that she helped. I could not have done it w/out her!

This is Mrs. Lunchbucket running the Senco screw gun. BTW that is the SAME wall that she was insulating on in the pic above.

Our supervisor got all tuckered out. She finally crashed thank goodness. Thought she looked very cute

Full pic of what we got done. All the ceilings in the living room and two walls. Only have one left and then it is on to the fish room (inside and outside)

Dude, that is coming along so nicely. Your wife is doing a great job. I notice that in the majority of the pictures, she's working while you stand there taking pictures like a Nancy-Boy. :D

LOL...Marc you are always starting something....

Lunch it's looking good! I'm getting ready to start the same thing at my house. Fun. I'll have to take lots of pics like you have!

Nah. I took it from his very own signature line, which was given to him by our very own Nick, who just grinned above your post.

looks great, added bonus with the wife helping out and being interested in the project. That always helps things move along.

I'm sure Marc will want to make it one of his first stops if he makes it back this year.

Assuming he ever gets water in the tank, that is. ;)

Oh don't even get me started. I can't even count all the times I was working all night long while she sat and watched Tv. I've been very blessed that she really helped out a TON w/ the rock. I could not have done it w/out her

OUCH what is this pick on me do. Give me a break I had bear block 2 weeks ago and now it's framed, insulated, and rocked!

The living room is all done so now the time focuses on the tank room. Need to drill my intlet and outlet vent tomorrow hopefully. Then I can insulate and rock the ceiling and get the tank back in teh tank room so I can make the "headers" for the top face of the tank viewing wall and do all the rocking in there. Hope to drill them tomorrow...but need to borrow a long pilot bit from my boss. I have a 4 1/8" hole saw in the basement just waiting along w/ the two dryer vent tubes and two bath fans. 50CFM to exhaust the hood and 70CFM to exhaust the room air.

Just think of me as a motivator, not unlike a guy that 'prods' his clientele to work out a little bit harder. ;)
