In the new Fosters catalog there is a water proof light meter.
I was wondering if anyone has experience with this piece or another model that may work better. I am not really impressed with a variation of (+ -) 6% but at 99 bucks it fits the budget.
My students are about to take on zoanthid growth research projects at various light levels, so we need to be able to accurately measure the light level at the animal.
We are hoping to determine both the tolerable range and optimum levels for each of the more common varieties of zoanthids.
What do you think about this meter?
