i have 2 fish in my quaritine system that have this. if my memorie serves me it a virus? not sure. is thier any way to treat it nowadays?

Curently battling this myself. You are correct, it is a viris. I've been reading that ensuring your fish are getting a good diet, maybe adding some vitamins like selcon (sp?), and everyone rec's adding garlic, can help the fish out while it runs its' course.
I believe, and somebody please correct me if I'm wrong, if a secondary issue like fin rot or something else pops up you cantreat that. But the lympho itself has to run its viral course.

Yes the lympho won't hurt him its like warts in people. Usually you see it in stressed / malnourished fish. Feed them well and let em be they'll be ok. My Yellow tang had it for a month when I first got him its gone now and he's perfect again.

thanks guys, i had one in one tank thst lost all its fins then died. it must have come down with a secondary infection.

im going to look for some selcon im allready using the garlic. and i just upgraded the skimmer. so this should get them better thanks.
