Lyretail Anthias infection?

I do it once with every new fish. You can repeat it if you see a need for it, but it has to be followed by a tank transfer to make any sense.

will i need to be redipping in formalin or is 1 dip usually enough? I'm going to just write off the Lyretail, by the time I get the formalin it'll be nearly a week from today. I'm really just concerned about saving the other 3 fish in that tank. I've already got copper in the tank, so when I prepare the formalin dip, do i pull that water from the current qt system or does it need to be fresh saltwater that's copper free?

Once uronema lessons are visible 9 out of 10 times the fish is toast. But not his tank mates. Chromis and antias, I always put them on CP treatment.

The problem witch CP is that some fish go into hunger strike. One thing I have tried is if they are eating at the time I get them. Feed them like pigs for a few days (no meds at all), then add CP; that way they are more likely to continue eating.
