M. Doreensis fish eater?

prickles

So I got a M. Doreensis because I thought they were not fish eaters and have some fish I really like. Everything I have read says beware of carpets but not really these guys. So far my blue spot and my pbt have wandered in and touched the LTA without any visible signs (just a few minutes ago, but they didn't even flinch). Do I need to be concerned? Apparently I have dumb fish. I am mostly concerned for the Blue spot since he lives near where I put the nem.

Have you ever had a fish eaten/stung by an LTA of this var?

no-
but this species might take dead or dying fishes.
BTW thanks for using the correct name of your anemone :)

well, we named it "Dory" but I didn't think that name would have been enough information so you could answer my question. :)

I actually had a baby naso eaten by mine once, but it just swam right into it's mouth kamikazi style.
Lost a baby naso to my sebae as well.(either they aren't too bright or don't live around nems)
These are my only 2 losses in over 5yrs though.
Fish do swim REAL close, but if they get a good touch you'll see them move!

I have kept both M. Doreensis and Haddonis ( carpet ) for years. Only lost one fish to the Haddoni, none to the M. Doreensis. Think the main reason is just how darn sticky a Haddoni is compared to an M. Doreensis, there have been times where I could barely get my hand off of mine haddoni when moving it.
