The wife and I spent the weekend in DC (if you have never been to Washington DC I highly recommend going lots to do). I went to the show on Sunday and I can say if you ever get the chance I would highly recommend going. For me going all 3 days would be to much, so 2 hours on Sunday was perfect. The deals for frags where awesome none of the vendors wanted to take them home. Unfortunately since We where not leaving until today I didn't get in on it, if I knew we where going to wake up and say lets go home I would have bought some stuff. I took some pictures I always feel there isn't enough pictures posted for these events.

Super pics- man I wish I could make it to Macna. Just always seems to be at the wrong time for me. Thanks for posting the pics. Just out of curiosity - what were the frags going for?

When I first got in there Sunday morning 9:30AM I was seeing them for around 20-50 dollar range by about 11:30AM when I was leaving ( they close the exhibit at 2PM on Sunday) there was a lot of hearing I will take 10 off for this and 20 for that. Of course there where a handful in the 100 range i just walk right passed those ones.

yep. $100 a frag, or even $50 is way to steep for me. But, hey they are in it to make cash -so I guess the charge what the market will bear.

I was there as well and I was getting frags for 5-10 on most soft coral frags.

oh yeah lots of raffles, but I didn't want to sit around waiting for the drawings. Got some free stuff 3 different issues from coral magazine, some fish food. Heard that people with 3 day full passes got some good stuff not sure what it was. The grand prize was a 10 day trip for 2 from LAX to Walt Smith facility on Fiji not sure who won it.
