I was but I have a bunch of aquariums that were being delivered that weekend so I wasn't and Gustav hits and delays the shipment ,so now I am again . Got a DVR to record my football while I'm gone so everything is good. WooHoo.

We are still going. Leaving early in the morning to try and avoid hearing a baby crying in her carseat for 6 hours :)
 
My wife and I are going We are so excited this will be our first. My sister live in atlanta so I can spend the money that I would have spent on hotel accomodations on some cool new stuff.
 
I planned on it, but now am having problems getting away. Not sure if I can still get a refund of anything. Think I can still cancel hotel.

Anyone out there wanting to go? Maybe I can transfer my registration?

I also bought two behind the scenes tickets for the Aquarium. Pretty sure those are non-refundable.

I'm still trying to work it out, but if anyone is going that isn't already registered, PM me.

What a bummer. I was really excited about going.
 
Lisa and I are leaving Thursday morning. Going to see the local stores, wholesalers, etc. before the show begins.

From what I was told it is too late to do anything but "eat" it.
 
Try to sell it - It IS too late to cancel it, but we will not be checking IDs, so you can unofficially transfer it to someone else.

What about all the raffle tickets? Are they the kind that have to be deposited in various bins to win and be present?

Or if you don't show will they get thrown in some pool for something?
 
You do need to be present to win. Have someone else pic up your tickets and deposit them as you wish. If they win, they win. You guys can figure it out between yourselves afterward.
 
Hell, I just checked. You are in Cordova! Get your butt here for at least part of it. You will regret it if you don't!

Well all of you "lucky ones that are going I wish you a safe trip, Please bring us back much knowledge and pictures!!!

Surely some of you can bring a synopsis back of everything that you learned and post it for us, along with enough pictures and information to make those of us who must stay here and work feel that we were there!!!!

Have a great trip it! looks like our club will be well represented!!
 
I got the picture taking covered. Two years ago in Houston, I took lots of pics and posted them while I was there. I will most likely be doing the same this year. I have my digital camera, HD video camera, laptop, and iPhone with me. Between all that technology I don't think I will have a problem getting some pics on here.

For those of you who are going - see you there.

Yay! I've worked it out to make it Saturday and part of Sunday.

Probably won't make the banquet Saturday night but can at least use my tics to the Atlanta Aquarium and see some of the vendor stuff and presentations Sat and Sun.

At this point I'm happy to see any of it!
