Macro id please

Hi All,

I picked up a frag of some Zoas but had a little interesting algae on it, now it's 2" tall and have never seen it? maroon in color but a the tips has orange spots on it?

i had it before too, beautiful and kinda glows under moonlights. lost it in a crash in my battle with briopsis. but i believe this is it

ha you ever wanna mail some to jersey i'll gladly have it again. when it first started growing in my tank i went nuts tryin to figure out what it was. sadly that link is about the only info i could find on it, and that was sent to me by another rc member, who was also extremely interested in getting his hands on it again

if it keeps going I will keep that in mind for sure! 2 months and 2" taller.

Looks and sounds like flame algae.

once mine got to be about 2 inches and established, it really took off, was growing double by the week

I have flame and does not look the same, this stuff has orange spots on it, not just the tips.
