Macro Shots - 1st attempt

I decided to play around with my really old Olympus point and shoot to see if I could get some decent aquarium shots and here's the results.

Looks good, Draco. Have you broken out the magnifying glass yet? I found that to ge me a little closer.

Are those two Cespits the same, or are they different.

I agree, Wow! The valida is a show stopper. From what I can see I think the next one is a millepora with some type of Montipora growing on the plug.

When you have subjects like that you'll wind up with a DSLR, just wait and see!

the cespit is from a different source but it may be the same as well. the one I got from you takes on close to the same coloration in some areas I've had frags. The fronds are pink, the shafts are green, and the base is blue with pink hues. have you seen that from yours?

Digital single lens reflex camera. the ones's where you buy a body for $600 and then a lens for $600... oh but wait. I can't photograph the moons of jupiter with this lens. I must have the $1200 lens! and the telephoto x-ray lens imported from Krypton! I've been toying with the idea of getting a dslr but I know that will be an expensive road for me to head down.

Awesome Dendro shots! How often do you have to feed it?

I feed it every day. I just hope it enjoys it as much as I do. I'm feeding it an LPS mix I made that includes mysis, cyclop-eez, oyster eggs and krill. I soak it in zoe and target feed.
