Macrodactyla doreensis or Condylactis Gigeanta?

Just bought a anemone together with 4 pink skunk clowns...
Just manage to have it attached to it place... But not sure of the species... It have a red base with tapered tentacles... So from what i found out, might be a Macrodactyla doreensis or a Condylactis Gigeanta..
Anyone have kept this before...

m. doreensis, the red column will have many prominent "pimply like dots" they are verrucae and aren't found on condylactis.

It is a bit bleached but given frequent feedings of small pieces of shrimp it should color up nicely for you.

They are burrowing species right? So anyway to get them to burrow into the sand or cervice?

Yes they are sand dwellers. A healthy LTA should plant its foot into the sand and attach to the underside of a rock or to the glass. Helping it is something I would wait on. Try and see if it attaches first.

The base of it isnt very sticky right? Not like a BTA... Been trying to place it on the same cervice, but it will deflate itself and inflate itself to get out of the hole and always end up upside down on the sandbed... Have already off my strong pumps to prevent it from being blown around..

Dig a small hoel in the sand bed and plant its base in it then bury the column should help it get started on its way to attaching.

Just dug a hole and bury it in it... Hope it wont be out floating the next day...

It came floating out the next day... Could it be my substrate? I am currently have grade 1 sand and rubble for my sandbed... I am now trying to keep it to its spot using liverock to prevent it from being blown away by my pump before it can attach...

Just found out my anenome base is damaged with some wound and some of the white stuffs coming out...... Dunno by what... I only have a few peppermint shrimps together with it... Will it heal if i isolate it and leave it alone... It have closed into a ball?
Need help and suggestion urgently...

Stayed up all nite to find the cause of the injuries... To my surprise, I see brown flat circular stuffs on the base of my anemone... It seems to be like flatworm? But flatworms eating anemone? Haven't heard of it... But i know they attack Corallimorpharians but anemone? Anyone experienced it... But in conclusion, this fella is a goner... Sighz...

If the foot looks anything like the following pictures, odds are against it making it, sorry. I wouldn't get rid of it just yet, because you never know, but I would keep a close eye on it. IME, damage to the tentacles can heal, but not to the foot.

Yupz.. It look exactly like that... Any idea what is the cause of it... Cos other corals are doing well in the tank? It seems to be getting worse...

Not sure on the cause, both of them came like that, it may have been from shipping stress or some sort of infection. I've never had an LTA get a hole in its foot if it came to me healthy. Both of the ones pictured above lasted for a couple of weeks.
