What do you have? I'm putting some in my office tank. I have red gracilaria. Would like to find a couple others.

I have flame algae, mushrooms, and plenty of kenya trees..pm me what you want, I can bring to our next meeting or you can pick up.

Can you get a pic of the flame. I'm not interested in corals really for this tank. Moving the corals from my corner into it.

I have dragons breath, cheato, and red grape - dont know if thats the same red gracilaria that u already have or not.

Ted, it may be, but save me some dragon's breath and some of the red grape. Now I need some green. I have tons of cheato, but don't want it in the tank.

Anybody got any grean caulerpa? Feather or grape??

Here is the picture of the flame algae, Jesse. My baby clowns wanted to be in the pic, too.

I would be very careful with Caulerpa - Lost my office tank years ago to a green macro that I could not overcome- it sticks to rock and grows super fast. Ended up taking the whole thing down and had to throw away the rock- you could not get it off the rock as it breaks apart instead of coming off the rock- even when the algae was dead after soaking it in vinegar solution. The tank was acrylic so by the time I got it off the tank - the tank was so scratched I never have used it again. I do not know what this green macro was- but it was not Halimeda. Granted - this was back when I did not have the knowledge I current have- experience is a great teacher. I never tested for phosphates back then and never checked the TDS out of the RODI - so possibly any Macro algae would have gone wild.

Ted, the neomeris looks like a bent Q-tip. It's also calcium based as is halimeda. Either of those would be good also. The caulerpa is fine in a nutrient poor system. I've kept it, (feather and grape), in other tanks. You just have to keep an eye on it.

Well- I kept trying to get it off the rocks. I never purposefully introduced it - I think it came on a frag or in water that I transported a fish/frag. So - I never really saw the feathers only the vine and the whitish roots that were boring into the rock.

I picked up some of the Calerpa taxifolia at the picnic and placed in my 25G clownfish tank. Apparently, it looked like the algae went "sexual" and released some kinda of chemicals that made the water so cloudy..lots of water changes and had to take them out to feed my foxface rabbitfish. The fish liked it very much :)

Jesse, I am on vacation but I have both feather caulerpa and halimeda. I can make sure you get some when we get back next week. I also have a red macro that is called rose petal which is cool.

Ok Jesse, I am home so give me a call when you want to come over for some macros. I will pm my number.
