it was a long drive for me but since everyone raves about it i figured it must be a good place. it took me about a hr. and a half to get there not to bad i guess. didn't plan on buying any livestock just a few 50/50 bulbs.. well you know how that goes lol.. ended up leaving with a very bright Coral Beauty and a pepermint shrimp some lights and food.. my 40 dollar trip ened up costing me almost 100 lol.. they do have a large selection but there was a tank with about 5-8 clowns in it and a few of there were "fuzzy" don't know for sure but i doubt that was a good sign.. we were gonna get 1 but all the ones we wanted were in the same tank with the fuzzy clowns.. so we got the CB instead.. seems to be doing fine this morning.. picking at the rocks a bit.. is this normal? also how can u tell the sex of the fish? any ways just wanted to share my first fish w/ ya..

Picking at the rocks is definitely normal. The fish like to look around for some natural food :)

My SC trips always turn in to $100 plus. Not sure how that happens either. The wife always lets me know about it too.

:D

Yea, it's hard to sneak a purple tang into the house without the little woman catching wind of it. If only her shoe buying habit were as obvious. I can't tell one pair of black pumps from another. I would swear there were more in the closet than there were last fall but I can't prove it.

In my wifes case its purses. Shoes, purses, whatever its all the same. It cuts into my reef tank budget.

Vermillion, OH. About 40 minutes due West of Cleveland. There's a cute downtown there too if you want to hit a few antique stores and a nautical museum.

MJ, thanks for responding. I have been to Vermillion many times for baseball, and I know there used to be a small wet shop in another business right downtown. Is this the same place? If not, can you tell me where to find it?
