Hello all reefcentral, my name is omar. After about 5 years out of the hobby i decided to get back into it! I picked up a 28g jbj nano(power compact) for a decent pricex tank has been established for about a year. the owner has been neglecting the tank for a while. First thing i did was remiove all media from the middle chamber including sponges.there was also an eheim canister filter installed that is has been removed aswell. In the middle chanber i have added filter floss with pillow stuffing(top) middle chamber has chaeto, bottom champer has chemipure blue. I will add purigen to one of the side chambers today.i will also be adding two mj1200 pumps for the returns.

Also there was a yellow tang in there that i gave away to a buddy.A far as livestock there is 2 green chromis(will be gone hopefully today), 1 clown and 1 black clown. I picked up 10 hermits,5 nassarius and 5 astreas over the weekend. Will pick up some more during the week. 1 hairy mushroom, 2 heads pulsing xenia, and some gsp.

Heres a shot of how the owner had it

Tank is still a littlw cloudy hopefully it will clear uo during the week.
I ordered a power head from amazon i believe its a sun sun,(decent reviews). I will retrofitting 3 truelumen led strips along with a current dual ramp timer. I also forgot to mention i have a chiller installed.

I ordered 3 12" truelumen pro led strips, 2 actinic , and one 12k diamond white. The actinics came in yesterday so i figured id start the retrofit. The 12k come in tomorrow, the hood is ready and the actinics are installed. Along with the i ordered the currant dual ramp up timer, korali power head and a few other things i need. I had ordered a cheap sun sun brand pumo from amazon that i hooked up to the ocean pulse duo and noticed it was spinning backwards so thats gotta go. I have the koralia on its way.i plan on getting 2 mj1200s for thr returns along with a koralia nano.
Heres a full tank shot with just the actinics
