mag drive impeller

Would it be worth it to replace a mag drive 5 impeller? I've replaced it once before, but it cracked again for some reason. Could it be the pump itself that's the problem?

p.s. I'm still waiting for the Ice Cap converter plug to be in stock. Can it be dropped shipped from PFO, maybe?

Hi Ken,

It sounds like the pump is probably in need of a replacement. The housing the impeller sets in can be warped/gouged/scratched over time from foreign objects getting in there. The IceCap converters just come in today, let us know if you need one.

Yup, I do need the converter! Still haven't been able to test the ballast and bulb I got. It's still not listed available on the website; I'll order it and some other stuff when it's on. Thanks!
