Mag-float question

I have the medium sized mag float that I used on my old 125 gallon reef. My question is would it hurt to use the same mag float on my bio cube 32. I am worried that the magnet in the medium one is stronger than the small mag float and that it would be easier to scratch the glass.

As long as it is clean it should be fine. I use the same one on my 4ft long tank as my nano cube.

As long as there is nothing on the inside pad to scratch the glass try it.
It may be too strong, it may not.
