Mag fox face shedding slime coat

I was looking at my tank and saw slime coat shedding off my magnificent fox face. One of the other fish proceeded to eat some of it. He does not now seem stressed. Any ideas as to what it could be and if I should be concerned? I have had him for a about a year and have not had any issues with him. All other fish seem fine.

I seem to remember a Foxface Lo doing the same thing in QT. I think it's normal for them (although it may be a sign of stress).

Mine too. Cleaner wrasse goes crazy following him for the week

My Rabbit does the same thing every so often; no adverse affects.

Both of Mag's are shedding it right now...lasts for a week or so. Haven't had any problems thus far and I've had them for over a year now. Happens every month...no adverse affects here either. Just have a bunch of pieces of slime floating around in the tank.
