Mag pumps

I want to replace my RIO return pump before I have any problems with it so I decided to look into the Mag pumps everyone seems high on. Well it seems both Pondmaster and Danner make pumps labeled Mag, which one is the good one?

Pondmaster is part of Danner, it's just a label they use to sell in that market, they are one in the same.

I was curious about this too... any reason why the danner mag 12 is $20 more than the pondmaster on foster&smith?
