Magflake (for DIY Magnesium Supplement) $1 per pound

I have 50lbs of magflake for use in Randy's 2 part (really 3 part).

Here is the link to the recipe:

http://reefkeeping.com/issues/2006-02/rhf/index.php

It was about $45 for the bag shipped and then $5 for the scale to measure it out :)

About 20lbs are already claimed.

2 lb minimum as 1lb of this stuff isn't much, it is rather heavy.

2 lbs is about one full large deli plastic container.

If you already replied in the other thread that you want some no need to post here, I already have yours accounted for.

Thanks
Ray

I have about 25 lbs left.

I will bring it to the meeting along with a scale.

Please respond to this if you would like some or see me at the meeting.

Thanks
Ray

Make sure you don't get pulled over in Monroeville with a scale and a bag of white stuff....:D

your mailbox is full, tried to send you a pm..:)

Ray,

I would like 5 lbs of this, but I am going to have to figure out when TJ is coming over this way...and have him bring it. I will get with him tomorrow and get back to you.

Thanks,
Phil

Ray, I'd also like 5 pounds of this as long as you still have it. Makes it an even $20 I owe you now :) You should be a lot easier to spot with a scale and big bag of magnesium than just looking for a guy playing with a few magnets.

Sounds good. Let me know.

I just measured, and 4 cups of the mag flake is approx one pound.

Also, please bring along a container to put this in as I do not have any. A large freezer bag can hold almost 5 lbs.

Awesome,
If you have enough, I'll take 5lbs.
Or at least 5 cups. to make a gallon....
I'll bring a box of gallon freezer bags!
