I just bought some Magnesium Chloride from my LFS. Next, I went to the calculator to see how much i need to add. Problem: I have no idea if it is Hexahydrate or Anhydrous. ANy simple way to tell the difference?

Thanks
Dan

well thats just it... I have no idea what brand. Its in a clear plastic bag. I doubt the LFS will even know.

k, im just going to add what the calculator says for anhydrous, if that raises the MG to desired level we will know which it is. NO? The amount the calc shows to add for anhydrous is about half of what is needed for hexa.

Thanks for the help.
