Magnet holder

Mounting a stream pump on a Magnet holder, what angel can you get out of it, I would like to put a stream on the back wall of the tank facing toward the front corner of the tank. Can the stream pump be angled 45-60 degrees

Yeah, its about 45-60 degrees. I have never gotten an exact measure but I would say it is at least 45 degrees.

ok well I tried it with one of my magnets for the wavebox and a stream 6100 will not turn enough to face the corner when I place it on the back of the tank, I would guess it is maybe a 25 degree angle is all I got

When did you get the 6100? The holder was changed in the spring to increase the angle. Is your part 6080.23 brown or black?

Brown, got the 6100s sometime in 2003.

OK, you just need the new style 6080.23 to nearly double that swivel radius. It is black. It is the same part number but it has a standoff to increase the range, Premium has them in stock.

ok I may have to get those, I ordered more magnets but they are out of them. So the holder will push the pump out 1/2" more than it is

Yeah, about a half inch. More mag holders will be in soon. We had a glitch a couple months ago in production. The guy who makes the mag holders overlooked that another part of his job is to keep track of the inventory of raw materials, he ran out of magnets and they got some rushed in and those ran out before the large container sent by sea arrived, they got their last week and they are making mag holders again and it shouldn't happen again.

Ok I talked to premium and cancelled the order and they will let me know when they get them in and I will order them again with the 6080.23 and give that a try. Thanks for the help
