magnet holders

Is the difference in the magnets the holding strength? I've been trying to work with the mounting hardware that came w/ my 6000s, but it just doesn't fit right on the tank. Can I use either magnet to hold these pumps? Thanks.

It will work on any Tunze pump or Comline filter, the only difference is holding strength.
