Has anyone been successful in attaching magnets to Koriella pumps?

What kind did you use and where did you get it?

Umm... all my korallias CAME with magnet mounts.

It is a pretty sweet knockoff but only has suction cups. I need to do something about that as it is to powerful for the suctioncups.

would the sure grip magnet mounts for the maxi jets work?

if you were dishonest you could call hydor and tell them the red post on your mount broke ...mine actually did and they sent me a whole new magnet mount no questions asked

I have a koralia 4 broken if it can replace the suction cup with the magnet u can have it pm me if u need it

MIght take you up on that Digitalman.

A maxi magnet will not attach but good idea with the broken post. Not sure I will go that route though

You could epoxy that to one of the big magfloats. I have one of the nice Oak Parana cleaners that would hold on to the thing for sure but those are a little spendy to be butchering for a pump mount.

yeah that would kinda defeat the "buy acheap pump and get it to work" Strategy

If you can find a couple of strong magnets you can get the stuff to make your own mounts. There was a thread about doing that and it looked pretty easy. This one isn't the thread I am thinking of but maybe it will give you a few ideas
